State-wise education-related decision, 7-day vacation in Navratri

A more important education decision has been taken by the state government. The Common Academic Calendar has been implemented in order to maintain all the programs in the process of admission, examination and vacation harmony and all programs in the state government. In which 95 sessions in the first session and 102 days in the second session will be done. For the first time in the colleges, the 7-day Navratri vacation will be given and the 49-day summer vacation will be held. The Common Academic Calendar will be implemented in all the courses except Medical and Pharmacy from the next academic session -2018, according to the list of Education Department.

In order to maintain academic harmony in all the universities, the procedure for the admission of standard-12 examination in the Common Academic Calendar submitted by a committee of the Vice Chancellors will be completed in 15 days ie maximum 15th of June of the date of publication of the results. First academic session 12 June 2018 to 4 November 2018 will be 95 days apart from the examination time, while the internal evaluation / examinations of the college will be completed in the weekly test, project work, group discussion etc. as on 15th October 2018.


Tue There will be a 7-day Navratri vacation from October 15 to October 21, 2018. Apart from the University level examination of Semester 1, 3 and 5 from 22nd to 31st October, 2018, as well as from November 28, 2018 to December 7, 2011, the University level examination of Semester 2, 4 and 6 subjects will be held. From 5 November 2018 There will be 14 days of Diwali vacation during November 18, 2018.

Apart from this, the second academic session will remain unchanged for 102 days from November 26, 2012 to April 24, 2019. Semester 1, 3 and 5 subjects from March 5, 2011 to March 14, 2019, as well as the University level examination of Semester 2, 4 and 6 from March 2019 to March 28, 2019. It will be a 49-day summer holiday from April 24, 2019 to June 11, 2019, as well as the list.

Ahmedabad: The academic session of 2018-2019 will start in Gujarat a week late. The government has decided to extend the date of summer vacation. Now schools will have a vacation from 7th May to 10th June. The date of summer vacation in schools is extended in the meeting of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board's Academic Council. Now all schools will have a summer vacation from 7th May to 10th June. When a new academic session from June 11 to 2018-19 will begin.



In the school, the board examinations and annual exams will be seen in the entire month, with the answer-based evaluation season. Principals, teachers in schools will be busy with a result of the run-up.On the other hand, schools have decided to start a new academic session late in one week. According to the calendar of the schooling activities of the 2017-18 education board, earlier the summer vacation period was fixed in schools from 1 May to 4th June. When the new session started from June 5, the reference was made to the schedule.
